1. Description of Project:
Utilize skeleton with calcification pictures on various parts of the body to encourage patients compliance.
2. Outcomes Measured:
Amount of patients who have taken steps toward better diet and binder compliance.
3. Summary of Outcomes/Results:
Patients have recognized the effects of calcification from skeleton pictures and are being more compliant with taking binders. Some patients have agreed to take a stronger binder to help prevent calcification.
4. Impact on Patients:
Overall a great way to educate and showcase calcification, which impacted the patients and increased patients compliance with diet and binders.
5. Lessons Learned:
Finding different ways to educate patients has been effective. Using visualization to show calcification was more helpful than just speaking to the patients.

This month (April)there are only 4 patients out of 72 that have not picked up their binders as prescribed. This is an improvement from March when there was more patients who had not picked up their binders as prescribed.
